Shri Kumbakonam Anantanarayana BhagavartarSpecial Guest ArtistKumbakonam Anantanarayana Bhagavartar is a renown singer of Namasamkeerthanam in Pracheena Bhajana Sampradayam. He is the grandson of Bhagavatha Padapamsu, Late Sri. T.V.Narayana Sastri of Kumbakonam who was responsible for spreading Abhangs in Tamil Nadu in early 60's and founder of M/S. Panduranga Bhajan Mandali, Ch-5. He learned and attained expertise of Marathi Abhangs from his father Sri T.N. Vaidyanathan (Chellibhagavathar), a renowned singer of Namaskeerthanam & founder of M/S. Bhaktaswara Bhajan Mandali, Chennai.
He is well versed in singing in multiple languages such as in Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, etc. He also has expertise in Jayadeva Ashtapathi, Krishna Leela Tarangini, Harikasha, Kalyana Utsavams in Pracheena Bhajana Sampradaya, Radha Kalyanam, Meenakshi Kalyanam, Andal Kalyanam, etc. He has performed in various TV channels like Sri Sankara TV, Vijaya TV, DD Podhigai and SVBC TTD Live Channels. |
