About the Ceremonies & Practices |
Netronmīlanam is a special ceremony performed a part of rituals of consecration for Temple mūrtis (icons). Through these rituals, channels are opened to the inner realms and powerful spiritual energies established.
After various rituals to purify the sacred space of the Temple and the images, Netronmīlana homams are performed to prepare for the ritual of Netronmīlanam. The ritual is performed to open channels to the inner realms so that the Devas can see the devotees in the Temple and hear their prayers. It is also performed to heighten the spiritual awareness of the Temple devotees of the sacred presence of the Devas. Normally people have trouble to see the Devas, because they dwell in the inner realms. The Devas likewise have trouble to see and to help the people. There is a veil between realms which obscures communication and interaction. The ritual of Netronmīlanam helps to increase visibility between realms in order to help inform and empower the efforts of the Devas to bless the people, and to increase human awareness of and receptivity to the blessings received. We are doing a series of Netronmeelanam practices and teachings in preparation for performing netronmeelanam ceremonies for the Jade Shri Yantra of the Goddess. We are seeking sponsors to get various herbs and minerals required for the ceremonies. |
Netron-Milanam Ceremony's Mission
Increase Your Spiritual Awareness & Pray for World Peace
How You Can Join the Ceremony
War, natural disaster, disease and so on cause much suffering in the world today. The Vedas and Shastras teach us that the cause of suffering is prajna aparaadha (forgetting our true Divine nature). Suffering arises from egoism which is nothing other than the false identification with the separate self. We are disconnected from one another because we see ourselves to be separate. If we can come to see the Divinity within that connects all souls, then life is joyous and it becomes natural to help and serve all.
We are raising funds to conduct a series of Netron Meelanam (Eye-Opening) Homams and Puja ceremonies for the Goddess. These ceremonies are prescribed by the Agamas and conducted as a part of Temple consecrations to open channels for the Devatas to see into the physical realm and for the temple devotees to see into the spiritual realms. Due to the significant amount of suffering in the world today related to the ongoing pandemic and various natural disasters and wars around the globe, we are conducting a series of Netron-meelenam rituals for the benefit of society |
Donations will go to purchase herbs and minerals required for the rituals. Along with ghee and honey, the Scriptures recommend various herbs and minerals to help open channels between the physical realm and the Devaloka. The Ayurveda shastras also provide information about different herbs and minerals. Around 100 of these sacred substances will be used in the offerings. Once these offerings have been energized through rituals and blessed by the Devas, they will be used to make various sacred substances which will be sent to sponsors of the rituals to use in their practice to help increase spiritual awareness. The intention is to increase spiritual sight to help ease the troubles in the world.
