Rudrākṣa is the pit of the bright blue fruit of the tropical Rudrākṣa tree (Elaeocarpis ganitrus).  ​The beads are sacred to Lord Śiva. Rudrākṣas have a special effect on consciousness when worn, touched, or seen. They also have many healing properties and uses according to Āyurveda. Rudrākṣas contain a number of vertical grooves refered to as mukhis, or facets. Rudrākṣas of different mukhis are said to have different properties and can be used as an inexpensive substitute for gemstones as an Astrological remedy. The higher number of mukhis are very rare and powerful and expensive. Misinformation is spread widely and fakes are commonly sold by unscrupulous sellers. Most people publishing information on Rudrākṣas are sellers and there is a lot of conflicting and inaccurate information out there. We do not sell Rudrākṣas, and are providing these teachings based upon the scriptures and our own mystical experience for the benefit of society.  This class will teach the basics of how to use Rudrakshas for healing and to deepen one's spiritual practice.
