Dhanteras Healing Practice Teaching and Healing Ritual

Dhanteras is celebrated as the birthday of Dhanvantari, the God of medicine, Ayurveda, and healing. Also known as Dhanatrayodashi, It occurs annually in Oct. or Nov., and is the first day of the Dipavali festival. This is the best day of the year for connecting with Lord Dhanvantari. This is also an excellent day for learning or performing acts of healing. We will be offering a special teaching of healing practices to connect with Dhanvantari and also a healing Ritual that people can participate in live via zoom call.
Dhanvantari Healing Practice - 9:00 - 11:00 am
This Dhanteras, Swamiji will be offering a teaching so people can learn to perform simple practices for self-healing and connecting with Lord Dhanvantari. The practice will include simple mantras, kriyas, visualization, and offerings which can be easily learned and accomplished at home. Healing practitioners may also be able to use the practices to help address the karmic, energetic, and spiritual aspects of conditions of their clients. To use these practices to help others, it is recommended that a person do the practices regularly for themselves first for at least several months. This teaching is suitable for anyone who wishes to learn some simple spiritual practices for healing or to learn to better connect with Lord Dhanvantari.
Dhanvantari Healing Ritual - 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Swamiji will be offering a puja to invoke the healing grace of Lord Dhanvantari to help address a full range of health concerns. Ayurveda teaches that health is wholistic and that there are always spiritual and energetic aspects of any health condition along with mental and physical symptoms. Spiritual rituals can help address the spiritual root of dis-ease conditions. Participants will receive simple instructions to be able to participate in the ritual from where they are. We are asking people to light an oil lamp or candle and incense during the rituals, which will help Swamiji to manifest healing energy in your distant location. This offering is suitable for anyone hoping to clear blockages preventing good health, happiness, and longevity, whether they have an acute or chronic condition or simply are seeking to improve their health and vitality.
