Starts Wed August 19th Rudram Chanting Class
What to ExpectThe Vedic Rudra hymn is considered the highest mantra for worshiping Lord Shiva, and one of the most powerful Vedic hymns. Swamiji will be teaching the Namakam portion of the Rudram starting Wed. Aug. 19th. This is during Shravana month which is especially sacred to Lord Shiva. This sacred hymn takes some dedication and practice to learn, but it is extremely powerful for reducing all sorts of troubles and manifesting every kind of blessing.
❋ Weekly Live Zoom ClassesSwamiji will teach a small group, weekly via zoom call so that we can pause and check that people’s pronunciation of the mantras is correct, starting on Wed. Aug. 19th at 6 PM US Eastern Time.
❋ Free of ChargeWe believe that the sacred knowledge of the Vedas was revealed by the Rishis and Rishikas for the benefit of humanity and should not be bought or sold. This class is free of charge and open to all serious students. Donations are greatly appreciated.
❋ PrerequisitsWesterners who have not studied with us before are required to complete the Sanskrit Sounds class before beginning Rudram chanting. This is a powerful mantra which tears into one’s attachments and egoism before bestowing its benefits. It is recommended (though not necessarily required) that people learn other Vedic mantras before attempting Rudram.
