Temple Murtis
Black Granite Murtis of Ganapati, Dhanvantari, and Shivalingam
Three new Murtis are finished in black granite in India which were carved under the expert guidance of G Jayandra Sthapati in his workshop in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. These murtis are of Ganapati, Dhanvantari, and a 3 foot Shivalingam (weighing about 700 lbs). We are working to raise funds to bring these murtis to Virginia. Partial payment for the murtis $2000 has been made already. When the carving is complete $4000 more will be due before the murtis can be shipped to Virginia. Shipping of the heavy, fragile murtis is expected to cost $2000.
It is an extremely great blessing to the devotees to sponsor a Temple Murti because each time the Pujas are performed for that Murti, the devotees continue to get the blessings of those rituals. Devotees are offered this unique opportunity relatively infrequently. Click here to donate for murtis.

In Janurary 2010, the first of
these murtis was brought from Gurudeva Subrahmuniyaswami’s Adheenam in Kauai. The arrival of this powerful Murti to Richmond opened a powerful
inner channel to that sacred ashram. The
Shaktis of this Murtis are giving support to the people of Richmond in their sadhana and leading the

realization.
Jade Shri Yantra
We have recently received from India a 7'' tall Jade Shree Yantra for installation in the finished Shakambhari Devi Temple in Virginia. The Shri Yantra is one of the most elaborate of all Hindu Yantras and though it is specifically an image of the Divine Mother, it is said that all forms within the universe are contained within its intricate design. Learn More about the Yantra Please help us prepare the space energetically for Devi's Sacred Yantra in Virignia by chanting, attending our weekly mantra meditation and by donating generously. |
