Preservation of Vedic Rituals
Swamiji teaches and practices the ancient Vedic ceremonies which were revealed by the Sages for the peace of the world. He works to preserve the sanctity of the sacred ashrams and devamandirams (temples) in India and throughout the world. He works to empower the efforts of Sannyasins, Purohits (priests), and devotees of these sacred sites. He helps them to recognize the karmic and spiritual sources of obstacles to the pure flow of spiritual shakti (energy) and assists them in implementing remedial measures. Swamiji does not give precedence to any one sect or tradition, but serves all spiritual organizations regardless of sect or denomination according to the merit of their faith and dedication. Swamiji also works with many Christian Churches and Buddhist Monasteries. Though Swamiji gives teachings and blessings to all who approach him with faith and compassion, he bestows Diksha (initiation) to serious spiritual seekers who have undergone the proper steps of preparation.
Preservation of Hindu Dharma
Swamiji is working to help the many Hindu Indian immigrants living in the west to preserve their spiritual heritage by spreading authentic teachings about the traditional practices of the Sanatana Dharma. Many of these ancient traditions are now being forgotten. Swamiji teaches the importance of Sandhyaa Vandanam and the daily recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, the basic daily practice of Hindus. Swamiji teaches the importance of the Shodasha Samskaras (the sixteen traditional sacraments of Hinduism). He places great importance on the regular practice of pitri tarpanam (offerings for the ancestors) and karunya tarpanam (offerings for beings). Swamiji teaches the traditional practices of Puja and Yajnam, placing great emphasis on the mantras from the Veda. He teaches the importance of the Veda Hymns and initiates men, women, and children to chant Vedas for the peace of the world. He counsels many Hindus (particularly in Western countries) about how to respectfully and powerfully reconnect with their spiritual tradition.

Swamiji is working with various teachers of Ayurveda to establish an Ayurvedic School to train Ayurvedic practitioners with the intention of raising the standards for the education of Ayurvedic practitioners in the West. Swamiji teaches about the various healing properties of the sacred plants, and he is working to bring light to the critical threat to many of the traditional Ayurvedic herbs in India due to severe over-harvesting. He is preparing a book on the traditional uses of Ayurvedic herbs detailing native substitutes for threatened Indian Herbs. He is working with various herb farmers to establish commercial farms in Virginia and West Virginia for growing several endangered Ayurvedic herbs. Work is being done now to gain the needed permits from the county to open the center to the public.
Promotion of Interfaith Solidarity
Swamiji teaches that the Peace of the Lord can be found through all the various religious traditions of the World. He teaches about the similarities between the Hindu faith and other major religious traditions such as Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, such as Judaism. He works to encourage interfaith dialogue and solidarity, teaching that every religion will become stronger if the leaders of each tradition work to defend and support other religious traditions rather than perpetuating condemnation, fanaticism, evangelism. The heart of every religious tradition is compassion and mercy. The Lord appears to people in different parts of the world in different forms and the people approach him in the ways that their cultural context allows. Now that the internet is bringing people from distant lands closer together, it is more important than ever before for world religious leaders to join in solidarity and in prayer. Swamiji has participated in various interfaith discussions and prayers.
Since 2016 when we purchased a property, Swamiji has discontinued most of his regular travels, teachings, and services to focus on preparing the space for opening. Once the center is open to the public, he hopes to return to his regular schedule of traveling for lectures and teachings, and providing counsel and spiritual services to the public. He continues to perform austerities aimed at calming and uplifting the collective consciousness of society. He constructs Yantras, preforms Abhishekams, Bali Samarpanam, and Maha Yajnams for the peace of the world. AUM namah shivaya!
